HANOI VESPA FOODIE TOUR

TOUR HIGHLIGHT:

Discover Hanoi’s vibrant street food scene while riding pillion on a vintage Vespa. Cross the historic Long Biên Bridge, explore the charming French Quarter, and cruise through hidden backstreets to taste authentic local dishes such as Bún Chả, Bánh Xèo, and unique variations of Phở. Experience the city’s romantic West Lake, take in the illuminated Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and end your journey with Hanoi’s signature Egg Coffee by the railway tracks - a perfect blend of culture, history, and cuisine.

DETAIL ITINERARY:

Pick-up & First Taste - Bún Chả
Your Vespa driver and English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel in the Old Quarter. After a short safety briefing, hop on your vintage Vespa and head straight to your first food stop. Here, you’ll enjoy Bún Chả, Hanoi’s most famous dish made of grilled pork patties served with rice noodles, fresh herbs, and a tangy dipping sauce.

French Quarter & Hanoi Opera House
Ride through the wide boulevards of the French Quarter, home to elegant colonial architecture. Stop at the Hanoi Opera House for photos and hear stories of its French influence and role in Hanoi’s cultural life.

Long Bien Bridge & Red River Views
Next, cross the legendary Long Biên Bridge, built in 1902 by the French architect Gustave Eiffel. From here, you’ll admire sweeping views of the Red River, see boats and floating houses below, and witness the daily rhythm of life along the riverbanks.

Vietnamese Pancake - Bánh Xèo
Continue along the famous Ceramic Mosaic Wall and Chuong Duong Bridge to reach your next culinary stop. Try Bánh Xèo – a sizzling Vietnamese pancake stuffed with shrimp, pork, bean sprouts, and herbs, wrapped in rice paper and dipped in savory sauce.

Hidden Alleyway Dining - Pho Variations
Ride into Hanoi’s maze of backstreets and alleys, where locals gather at small family-run eateries. Here, you’ll taste unique versions of Phở such as Phở Cuốn (fresh noodle rolls with beef and herbs) and Phở Chiên Phồng (crispy fried pho squares topped with beef and vegetables). These hidden gems are rarely found on tourist maps.

West Lake & Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
Your Vespa ride continues around the romantic West Lake, a peaceful contrast to the bustling Old Quarter. Enjoy the fresh breeze and lakeside scenery before passing the brightly lit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum for a quick photo stop.

Egg Coffee by the Railway Tracks
End the evening with Hanoi’s signature Egg Coffee at a cozy café right next to the train tracks. If you’re lucky, you’ll see the train pass just a few meters away – a thrilling and unforgettable sight while sipping your sweet, creamy coffee.

Return to Hotel
Finally, your driver will take you back to your hotel or drop you at a preferred location in Hanoi. Say goodbye to your guide and take home delicious memories of Hanoi’s food, history, and culture.
